GV3 Diaphragm Compressor

Jinding GV3 Diaphragm Compressor provides an oil-free compression path for high-purity, inert, flammable, explosive, toxic and other special gases. Stable hydraulic oil circulation, optimized diaphragm cavity design and a compact machine layout make it suitable for continuous industrial gas compression where gas purity, sealing and equipment reliability are important.

In special gas compression, the key concern is not only the required outlet pressure. Gas contamination, leakage, diaphragm fatigue, valve wear and hydraulic system stability can directly affect production. GV3 Diaphragm Compressor addresses these operating requirements through diaphragm isolation, an enclosed compression chamber, an optimized membrane cavity and an independent oil pump station. The V-shaped structure also provides a compact arrangement for industrial installation and maintenance.

Sealed Compression for Special Gas Applications

For toxic, flammable, explosive or corrosive gases, effective gas containment is an important consideration in compressor selection.

The GV3 diaphragm compressor uses a diaphragm between the gas chamber and hydraulic drive system. The cylinder head and diaphragm form the compression chamber, separating the process gas from the oil cylinder and crankcase during normal operation.

The diaphragm acts as the moving sealing element between the gas and hydraulic sides. This design helps limit direct contact between the process gas and the mechanical drive system. Final material selection and sealing arrangements must be evaluated according to gas composition, operating pressure, temperature and chemical compatibility.

Diaphragm Design and Component Service Life

The GV3 uses an optimized diaphragm cavity profile designed to match the diaphragm's reciprocating movement and support volumetric efficiency. The cavity geometry influences gas flow within the compression chamber and the diaphragm's operating conditions.

Diaphragm and gas valve service life depends on the actual operating conditions, including gas composition, pressure ratio, temperature, operating frequency and accumulated running hours. Correct model selection, operation within the specified limits and regular maintenance are important to long-term performance.

Structural Design, Installation and Maintenance

The GV3 adopts a V-shaped structural arrangement intended to provide a compact equipment layout and balanced mechanical operation. Its overall dimensions and connection arrangement should be considered when integrating the compressor into an industrial gas system.

The hydraulic station, gas compression section and mechanical drive system serve distinct functions within the equipment. This arrangement helps organize inspection and maintenance activities, although access requirements depend on the specific configuration.

Before installation, confirm the equipment dimensions, piping direction, cooling-water connections, electrical supply and maintenance clearance. Transportation access, foundation requirements and site operating conditions should also be reviewed during layout planning.

How the GV3 Diaphragm Compression Process Works

The motor drives the crankshaft through the transmission mechanism. The crankshaft and connecting rod convert rotary motion into reciprocating movement of the piston in the oil cylinder.

The resulting hydraulic pressure transfers force to the diaphragm, causing it to move within the gas chamber. During the suction stroke, gas enters through the inlet valve. During the compression stroke, the diaphragm reduces the chamber volume and increases the gas pressure. When the required discharge conditions are reached, the outlet valve opens and the compressed gas leaves the chamber.

The hydraulic oil compensation system maintains the oil volume required for diaphragm movement according to the equipment design.

Motor → Crankshaft → Connecting Rod → Oil-Cylinder Piston → Hydraulic Oil → Diaphragm → Gas Compression

GV3 Configuration and Industrial Applications

The following configuration details describe the specified GV3 setup. Confirm the final parameters against the selected model and technical datasheet before ordering.

  • Structural form: V-shaped
  • Compression level: 2-stage
  • Cooling method: Circulating water cooling
  • Working voltage: 380 V
  • Compressed media: High-purity gases, inert gases, flammable and explosive gases, toxic gases, corrosive gases and other special gases, subject to material compatibility and approved operating conditions
  • Pressure parameters: Intake pressure and exhaust pressure, to be specified for the required operating point

Typical application areas include high-purity gas compression, specialty gas processing, gas recovery and recycling, chemical process systems, laboratory and research equipment, and energy-related gas systems. Suitability for any specific gas depends on its properties, required flow rate, inlet conditions, discharge pressure and the compressor's approved configuration.
