Jinding Z Diaphragm Compressor is a single-stage, Z-shaped gas compressor for high-purity gas, inert gas, flammable and explosive gas, toxic gas, and other special gas compression applications. The Z series provides oil-free gas handling across a wide range of flow rates and pressure conditions. Available configurations cover approximately 1.1 to 200 Nm³/h, with outlet pressures up to 27 MPa(G), allowing the compressor to be matched to different industrial gas systems.
The Z Diaphragm Compressor uses a flexible diaphragm to separate the gas chamber from the hydraulic and mechanical sections of the compressor. During operation, the diaphragm moves with the hydraulic oil to change the volume of the gas chamber and complete the suction and compression cycle. Because the compressed gas remains separated from lubricating oil, the gas path is suitable for applications where gas purity, controlled sealing, or special gas compatibility is important. The Z-shaped arrangement and single-stage configuration provide a practical equipment platform for these compression duties.
Oil-Free Gas Path
For diaphragm compression, gas purity depends largely on keeping the gas chamber separated from the lubrication system. The diaphragm forms the working barrier between the compressed gas and hydraulic oil, so lubricating oil does not enter the gas chamber during normal operation.
This arrangement makes the Z Diaphragm Compressor suitable for gases where oil carryover or contact with lubricating media could affect downstream equipment, product quality, or process conditions. It is particularly relevant to high-purity and specialty gas systems.
Sealing for Special Gas Service
The enclosed gas chamber and diaphragm separation provide a controlled compression path for gases that require careful handling. Z series configurations can be used for inert gases as well as selected flammable, explosive, toxic, and other special gases, subject to the required material and operating-condition verification.
Cooling and Continuous Operation
The Z Diaphragm Compressor uses circulating water cooling to control operating temperature during gas compression. Cooling requirements depend on the gas, pressure ratio, flow rate and operating conditions, so the final cooling configuration should be matched to the selected model and process duty.
The available models operate at approximately 400–420 r/min, depending on configuration. Power ratings range from 3 kW for compact low-flow units to 30 kW for higher-flow models in the current Z series range.

FAQ
1. What gases can a Z Diaphragm Compressor handle?
The Z series can be configured for high-purity, inert, flammable and explosive, toxic and other special gases. Gas composition and operating conditions should be reviewed before selecting the compressor.
2. Does the compressed gas contact lubricating oil?
No. The diaphragm separates the gas chamber from the hydraulic and lubrication sections, preventing normal direct contact between the compressed gas and lubricating oil.
3. What is the maximum outlet pressure available in the listed Z series models?
Among the supplied models, GZ-1.1/21-270 has an outlet pressure of 27 MPa(G). The applicable pressure depends on the selected model, inlet condition and required flow.
4. Is the Z series suitable for high-purity gas?
Yes. The diaphragm-isolated gas chamber keeps the compressed gas separate from the lubrication system, making the compressor suitable for many high-purity gas applications.
5. What information does Jinding need for a quotation?
Jinding needs the inlet pressure and temperature, outlet pressure, required flow rate, gas composition, operating requirements and, for special gases, relevant physical and chemical property data.
6. How do I choose between different Z series models?
The model should be selected according to the combination of gas type, inlet pressure, outlet pressure, flow rate and operating conditions. Jinding can recommend the appropriate configuration after reviewing the complete process data.
